One of the pet projects I took on this past year was something I dubbed Viumo. The overall goal of this endeavor was to create access to technology for every day furniture stores around the country. Combining traditional business with new technology in a way, which in my mind, would revitalize the industry.
The long term goal of this project was different however. I wanted to create a platform not solely for simple furniture visualization but a platform that pushed the technology in other ways and in different forms. Changing the definition of what VR is, could be, as well as what kids of technologies could be used to improve it.
